I started in Rapid City, South Dakota. It was a beautiful clear day. The leaves were just coming out as they were over a month behind central Virginia. I didn't chase that day as I was blowing off a marginal set up in western Oklahoma and Kansas. There was possible chasing the following day and Saturday. I ate breakfast with Charles Edwards and the Cloud 9 tourists. Everyone was still very happy over the previous day's beautiful tornado near Howes, South Dakota. They were going to see Mount Rushmore and Devils Tower which I have seen before. I meandered south through the Black Hills, taking photos, shooting more "b-roll" footage for the British production company, and enjoying the scenery. The day ended in Chadron, Nebraska. No storms, but beautiful landscapes and photo opportunities.
